This is my story | Brain surgery survivor

Today, I want to share a personal experience with you all. A few years ago, I underwent a challenging and traumatic surgery. Even after two years, I still struggle with constant emotional distress. During that time, I often knelt down and prayed to God, seeking inner peace and healing. I am incredibly grateful to say that God answered my prayers. All glory to God Almighty! Please have faith and never stop praying. Thank you, Jesus. God's blessings are truly beautiful.

The story continues...

I will never forget the day I signed the consent form for brain surgery. It was a 50/50 chance, and the situation was considered an emergency. The surgery was successful, but there were a few complications.

Thank God I am alive today. A few months later, at my follow-up appointment, my surgeon informed me that if I hadn’t gone to the emergency department that day, I wouldn’t be here today. I replied, “God did it.” May God bless my two surgeons and the entire NHS team. I am a brain surgery survivor. Thank you, Lord.

Please do not take any minor illnesses for granted; every part of the body, both internal and external, is important because everything can change in an instant. I am a living testimony, and I thank you, Jesus.

I had a headache for a year and was on medication until it worsened during COVID-19. My neurology appointments were cancelled and rescheduled due to the pandemic.

I went to my local hospital's Accident and Emergency department twice, but I was only prescribed paracetamol. No MRI scan was conducted until three months later when my vision began deteriorating; I was going blind.

I had to go to one of the best hospitals, as recommended by my optometrist, where emergency brain surgery was performed immediately to save my life.

Despite the complications from the surgery, I give Almighty God all the glory; I am alive. If not for Almighty God in Heaven, where would I be? May God bless the NHS.

Be happy, be yourself, and take care of yourself. God loves you, and don’t forget to pray. God's blessings are truly beautiful.
